We offer Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Flow Yoga, Meditation, Pre Natal and More. Located in a walk-up 2nd floor studio infused with natural light and ocean breezes, our main studio windows open East onto the Middle River. Watch the sun rise as you make your sun salutations and the moon rise as you melt into final relaxation. Relax in our T-Lounge with a complimentary cup of tea, or shop our great recycled clothing section with lots of designer goodies. Recycling doesnt have to be dull. If you have some like-new clothes and accessories you no longer wear, we'll take a look. If we sell them for you we'll share the profits. Its a win-win-win!

Karen Gavrilov

  4. Favorite type of food? Robust ,spicy, & unusual combinations.
  5. What or Who inspires you? Everything and everyone, just not all at once.
Karen earned her Ashtanga Teacher Certification at It's Yoga in San Francisco in 2001 and taught Yoga at Stanford University and the Palo Alto YMCA. Karen returned to South Florida, opening Red Pearl Yoga in 2002. Trained in Classical Ballet for 12 years, she brings a love of detail to her teaching, leaving out the rigidity. Karen has a fine arts/Photography Degree from the University of South Florida. She is also a Visual Stylist for Neiman Marcus since 1993. Jason Mastrian

Jason has a B.S. degree in Neuroscience from University of Pittsburg. He is certified to teach Yoga and Pilates. He recently completed his certification in Budokon and is the first to teach it in the Broward County area. He also has certification in Massage Therapy and Thai Massage. Three gifts that he brings to the world are: compassion, consistency, humor.

Lisa Garcia-Pumper

After several years of study and teaching the Astanga Vinyasa system Lisa expanded her knowledge by earning her certification from the Hatha Pradipika Research Institute. She is registered teacher with Yoga Alliance. Lisa is dedicated to helping students have a better understanding of their bodies and how to obtain optimal living. Bob Miller

Bob trained with Jimmy Barkan(hot yoga), Aadil Palkhivala(Iyengar) and Bikram Choudry(Bikram). He is a certified Yoga Instructor and Massage Therapist. Three gifts that he shares with the world are: enthusiasm, genuine concern for students' progress, and humor. And- he chants like angel.

Benito Gonzalez

Benito is certified to teach Ashtanga Yoga from Miami Yoga Shala. He is a voracious learner and has studied with Shri K. Pathabbi Jois, Tim Miller, Richard Freeman. He studies extensively with Kino MacGregor and Tim Feldman, and is currently working through 2nd Series Ashtanga. Benito has a college degree in Mass Media from the University of Mexico. Three gifts that he shares with the world are: warmth, and helping others to appreciate the moment, and his dedicated self study.

Laura Swaney

Laura Swaney has been certified under Jimmy Barkan's Hot Yoga Program Level I and II. She is also certified in Vinyasa Flow, and in Sport Yoga as an injury prevention specialist. Laura's private clients include Broadway cast members, high school sports teams and professional athletes and coaches. Laura is featured in Vibrational Yoga, a yoga dvd distributed by Vibrational Living. Having birthed two sons, Laura found that yoga helped her to regain both her outer body and inner self after pregnancy. Karen Romani, certifed in Integrative Yoga Therapy since 2000,specializes in Restorative Yoga, as well as Yoga integrating breathwork and energy. Her most powerful life changing work has been Lightbody Meditation which she teaches privately to those who wish to accelerate their personal growth. She believes that we all have the potential to find our personal power, discover our service to humanity and in creatively combining the two, we can live out our daily lives contented. In addition, Karen(aka Bint al Azar) has been bellydancing for 15 years. Three gifts that she shares with the world are: enthusiasm, joy and a playful spirit.

Paige Held

Paige was certified under Jimmy Barkan ( hot yoga) in 2001 and has been teaching ever since. She has been teaching Hatha, Vinyasa, kids, and pre-natal yoga in Fort Lauderdale for 8 years. Her love for yoga gives her the inspiration to continue to grow, study, learn, and teach everyday. She shares yoga with her son and daughter. Three gifts that she shares the world are... Daniella Draughon

Daniella became a certified yoga instructor at the age of 17, and she has been teaching ever since. She received her English degree at the University of Florida and lived in Europe for several years.  Three gifts that she shares with the world are compassion, creativity and her love of cooking.

Julie is a Kripalu certified yoga teacher and an IAIC Certified Life Coach. In addition to teaching yoga and meditation, Julie coaches and leads empowerment workshops, as well as mentoring and training coaches.  Julie earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry and her professional career includes five years as a Research Scientist with General Electric.  Three gifts that she shares with the world are: inquisitiveness, sincerity, integrity.

Dianne Billig

Dianne has been teaching yoga to kids since 2005.  Certified through Karma Kids Yoga, Radiant Child and YogaKids...she feels truly blessed to share the gift of yoga with children.  Dianne has extensive experience with kids of all ages, for the last 12 years she has been a Wishgranter for the Make A Wish Foundation. Also known as "Cookie", she owns and runs Bits, Bites and Chunks, which makes some of the most delicious cookies in the universe. Trudy Ebedes

Trudy Ebedes began meditation practice as a teenager. Born in Namibia, in Southwest Africa, the root of her spiritual understanding evolved from studying Hebrew and Kabala in Israel. Along with her strong yoga practice, Trudy has also trained in Reiki and Shamanic healing. She continues to connect with her homeland thru organizing fundraisers to benefit the children of South Africa. Three gifts she shares with the world are: compassion, joy and beauty.

Carole Krady

After discovering yoga ten years ago Carole has developed a devoted practice and passion for yoga that continues to grow and expand. Her classes inspire students to achieve their inner greatness through alignment, strength building and self awareness. She has completed teacher trainings with Anusara founder John Friend and Prana Vinyasa Flow Yoga founder Shiva Rea.  Locally, Carole finds inspiration from Anusara Teacher Peter Barber and her fellow yoginis. She is currently working on certification in Prana Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Shiva Rea and has completed Shiva Rea’s Pre natal yoga training in Los Angeles.Three gifts she shares with the world: humor, sincerity and really good foodie connections.

Kate is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and certified at The Yoga Center of Deerfield Beach. Her life long love of dance and movement inspires her creative yoga classes. Melissa discovered yoga 8 years ago and recently completed a 200 hour
RYT Anusara Yoga Teacher Training with Certified Anusara Yoga Teachers
Betsey Downing and Jaye Martin. Melissa also studies with Certified Anusara

Jennifer Dugan

Jennifer Dugan was first introduced to yoga by her Religion teacher at a Quaker high school. After graduating from Harvard, Jennifer founded and and ran a small technical company. In 1992 she took a series of beginning Ashtanga yoga classes at Jivamukti in New York. Jennifer has studied Ashtanga Yoga with its founder Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath, in Mysore, India. Locally, Marisa Gallardo and Tim Feldman have shaped her practice. Jennifer is a believer that asana can be used to explore habits and feelings stored in the body that interfere with a person's growth, personal vision and spiritual path. Three gifts she shares with the world: Integrity, Involvement and a Hunger to know more.
