Karen Gavrilov

Karen earned her Ashtanga Teacher Certification at It's Yoga in San Francisco in 2001 and taught Yoga at Stanford University and the Palo Alto YMCA. She returned to South Florida, opening Red Pearl Yoga in 2002. Trained in Classical Ballet for 12 years, she brings a love of detail to her teaching. Karen has a fine arts/Photography Degree from the University of South Florida. She is also a Visual Stylist for Neiman Marcus since 1993. Benito is certified to teach Ashtanga Yoga from Miami Yoga Shala. He is a voracious learner and has studied with Shri K. Pathabbi Jois, Tim Miller, Richard Freeman. He studies extensively with Kino MacGregor and Tim Feldman, and is currently working through 2nd Series Ashtanga. Benito has a college degree in Mass Media from the University of Mexico. Kate is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and certified at The Yoga Center of Deerfield Beach. Her life long love of dance and movement inspires her creative yoga classes. Sheila was born in the Phillipines, and has lived in Los Angeles and in Manhattan. In NYC she discoverd Yoga, while working in finance. She left the Corporate World to follow her passion for studying and sharing Yoga and all it can offer. Sheila's Yoga training was primarily with Rolf Gates of Prana Power Yoga in NYC. She has additional intensive training with Seane Corne, Sri. K. Patthabhi Jois, Kino MacGregor, and Jordan Bloom. She continues to develop her self and her study and share that growth and exploration with her students. Jess has been teaching yoga for 10 years in South Florida. A Professional Yoga Therapist, and a Certified Kripalu Yoga Insructor, Jess specializes in Prenatal Yoga as well as Restorative Yoga Therapy. Her recent journey with Cancer has led her deeper into the spiritual aspects of the yogic philosophy. She loving challenges her students to integrate the lessons and gifts of yoga into their daily lives. Three gifts she shares with the world are acceptance, unconditional love and a myriad of blossoming talents not yet known, even to her. |

Deborah completed, with honors, the YogaFox/Red Pearl collaborative Teacher Training program in August of 09. She is very passionate about introducing new people to Yoga and Wellness and facilitates this thru Community Outreach and philanthropic ventures such as Relay for Life (elected event chair 2010) and The Smart Ride . A classically trained singer, Deb spent much time in the Theatre, both onstage, and behind the scenes in production/technical. She finds Yoga a tool to heal and rebalance, reminding us how to better use our bodies and minds, bringing strength and stability to our daily lives. Erika earned her Yoga Alliance 200hr Teacher Training thru Ananda Yoga Hatha Training with Lisa Pumper, Joy Kochmer and Surrendran Panderran. She chose Hatha because of the broad spectrum that it covers and now teaches Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Meditation and Fundamentals classes. Erika has practiced for over 10 years and was self taught for the first five with DVD's and books. Erika holds a B.S. in International Business and is also educated in Veterinary Medicine. After discovering yoga in 1998 Carole has developed a devoted practice and passion for yoga that continues to grow and expand. Her classes inspire students to achieve their inner greatness through alignment, strength building and self awareness. She has completed teacher trainings with Anusara founder John Friend and Prana Vinyasa Flow Yoga founder Shiva Rea. Karen Romani, certifed in Integrative Yoga Therapy since 2000,specializes in Restorative Yoga, as well as Yoga integrating breathwork and energy. Her most powerful life changing work has been Lightbody Meditation. She believes we all have the potential to find our personal power, discover our service to humanity and in creatively combining the two, we can live out our daily lives contented. After several years of study and teaching the Astanga Vinyasa system Lisa expanded her knowledge by earning her certification from the Hatha Pradipika Research Institute. She is registered teacher with Yoga Alliance. Lisa is dedicated to helping students have a better understanding of their bodies and how to obtain optimal living. Margit Hamilton

- How did you discover Yoga? Trying to find a sense of peace and calm during a difficult time.
- What have you given up that still tempts you? The impulsive of bad decision-making.
- Favorite type of food? Sushi & Thai. My mother's baklava and manicotti and my oma's dutch pancakes.
- What or Who inspires you? My mother Kim, and my grandmother, Mary.
After practicing yoga intermitantly for over ten years, Margit became more focused and regular in her practice in the past few years. She graduated from the YogaFox/Red Pearl collaborative Teacher Training program and is certified through the yoga alliance. Margit also graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelors in Elementary Education, more specifically TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages.) Margit enjoys experiencing new and different cultures, and loves to travel as much as possible. She also enjoys photography, music, and the outdoors. Margit believes that yoga is a way to bring strength, flexibilty, and freedom to oneself, both internally and externally. She truly feels blessed to be teaching yoga and sharing something so close to her heart with those around her. Three gifts that Margit shares with the world are: kindness, empathy, and enthusiasm.

In 2006, Andrew met his yoga guru Myrna McCoy inspiring him to embark on a rewarding journey. Through dedication and practice, he has developed a sound yoga foundation consisting of various styles including Ashtanga Vinyasa. Andrew has earned a Yoga Alliance RYT Certification, a YogaFit Level 1 Certification, and an American Red Cross CPR/AED Certification. Andrew holds a B.S. in Hospitality Management. Originally from Calgary, Canada,Tamara has been in South Florida since 2003.Tamara earned her RYT200 hour yoga training with Fox Vinyasa .Tamara's eclectic teaching style incorporates Pranayama with a variety of methodology and techniques; This allows her to tailor her classes to the unique needs of each student.
